CNN Is Dumb
| So, the best, most-substantive exchange in tonight's debate was the back and forth on health care. Which, of course, the candidates basically had to ignore the moderators to have. Can anyone explain why the moderators would want to STOP the candidates from having a detailed discussion on one of the most important issues in this election? It's a good thing they jumped in before a debate could break out. (Idiots.) |

post a commentI didn't watch the debate. I just read that Hillary called Obama the candidate of "Change you can Xerox". And got booed. Just goes to show, she just doesn't get it. Unbelievable. Firstly, people are tired of mud-slinging, especially if it is a patheti-sad (to borrow an apt term from you) attempt at making the other guy look bad for negligible stuff. Secondly, in a liberal progressive place such as Austin, did she really think people would buy that kind of crap?
The extreme mismanagement of her campaign and her extraordinary cluelessness as to public pulse has convinced me that she has kept Bill out of any real involvement in her campaign. I think she said "Stay the hell out Bill, you've screwed things up enough....this is my show"....and he said, "Go ahead, make my day. I didn't wanna be wearing the first mansiere anyways". There is no way Bill runs a campaign like that. He has always known what to say, even if he didn't mean it. The guardian had an article called "Stupor Tuesday" about the lack of Hillary's planning for beyond SuperTue---its pretty revealing.
It doesn't speak well to her potential prowess as Commander in Chief that she didn't have a contingency plan in case the best case scenario in the campaign didn't play out.
Sound like anyone else we know?
