Zimbabwean Doctors On Strike

In yet another symptom of the disastrous economic policies of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe's Doctors have gone on strike to protest the devaluation of their wages due to rampant (1,200%) inflation.

They are demanding an 8,000% pay increase!

This may seem like a singular occurance which is being driven by highly skilled workers, but it is likely that strikes could occur in all sectors of the workforce. (Nurses have already joined the Doctors' strike.)

When no one is working, people tend to make trouble for their governments.

Just a thought, President Mugabe.
